About Matt
In 2001, Matt moved to the Eastern Shore after attending Penn State University. Looking to begin a career, he completed an apprenticeship in carpet installation and floor care. As he developed his carpet installation skills, he soon began receiving calls for his services and expertise in carpet installation and flooring advice. It wasn't long after that; in 2003, he launched his first business, "Keenwick Carpet."
Matt prides himself as an honest businessman, and as his reliable reputation grew, he personalized his business name to "Matt The Carpet Guy." Hiring staff with the same desire, work ethic, and detail for the job was mandatory for his company. His staff is well-trained and dedicated to doing the job correctly the first time!

"Keenwick Carpet" & "Matt the Carpet Guy" have been "mobile showrooms" for over seventeen years. Simply put, we bring samples your way! We realize browsing too many options at large commercial retail can be a bit overwhelming. After we speak with our customers and listen closely to their flooring desires, we carefully select a few samples closest to their interests. There are many options, so we strive to bring a selection where choices can be conveniently made on the same day.
As we continue to offer this service, our customers may now visit our main showroom in Selbyville, DE. At our new showroom, we have various showcases matching your flooring needs. And don't worry about knowing the many styles or choices; we pledge to walk our customers through the entire.
